Many are under the assumption that faith is some type of name it and claim it, blab it and grab it, emotional expression of words filled with hype.

God desires that we become a people in the earth who are fully persuaded that He desires to be the origin of our faith, not our emotions. The God of heaven will infuse your life with nothing short of His faith if you will allow Him to.

There is no junior Holy Spirit distributing a less impactful faith in the earth. God never gives out a secondary, phony, counterfeit faith. The faith He desires every blood-bought believer in Jesus Christ to walk in is the faith of God.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible” (Heb. 11:1-2, NKJV).

It is so easy in the Christian culture to memorize Hebrews 11 as head knowledge but never allow it to become heart knowledge producing a declaration of the Scripture without a demonstration of its power. The enemy does not fear how many Scriptures you have memorized in your head, but he does fear when the Word of God becomes alive in your heart. Let’s take a moment and break down Hebrews 11 that you might be encouraged to release nothing less than the faith of God in the earth.

The Greek word for “faith” in Hebrews 11 is pistis. This word refers to the kind of belief inside of you that leads to personal conviction. Are you convicted that your God can do it? Are you persuaded that the God of the universe can make a way when there is no way? Are you guilty in the courtroom of heaven for believing that God can and that God will?

Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The Greek word for “substance” is hupostatis, meaning “to stand up under.” Faith is the substance of things hoped for, meaning that faith is to “to stand up under” that which you are hoping for. The faith of God is the foundation for what you are hoping for. Imagine if you applied the revelation of releasing the faith of God, which is the same faith that the worlds were framed by what was not visible.

Releasing the faith of God in the earth means that you must spiritually “stand up under” the will of God for your life . Let me give you some applicable examples of releasing the faith of God. What you are hoping to see in your bank account may not be what you are currently seeing, but by faith you are going to “stand up under provision” in the name of Jesus.

God’s Word promises you that God shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory (Phil. 4:19). What you are hoping for in your physical body may not be exactly what is happening in your current condition, but faith says, “I’m going to stand up under the blood of Jesus that declares by every stripe, I am healed.”

Maybe your children or grandchildren are currently operating in rebellion. Faith says, “I’m going to stand up under the promises of God concerning my family!” The Word of God promises that if you train a child in the way they should go, when they grow old, they shall not depart from it!

These are only a few examples of how you can apply the “stand up under” revelation of faith to your life. The question that must be asked in every aspect of your life is, “Are you standing up under the will of God or the will of the enemy?”

The faith of God inside you is the bridge between you and the manifestation of the promises of God in your life.
