Though there are so many transformational aspects concerning the wind of the Holy Spirit I want to give you 5 things that happened when the wind of the Spirit blew on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2. In Acts 2 the Bible declares that suddenly there was a sound from heaven as of a mighty rushing wind that filled the whole house.

1. THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT IS SUDDEN

The wind of the Holy Spirit comes suddenly into your life. In Greek suddenly means that the Holy Spirit will come unexpectedly. The time is now for each one of you to believe God to move in unexpected ways in your life. God has an amazing way of showing up and blessing your life and you never saw it coming because it is the suddenly of the Holy Spirit. Consider the wind in the natural as it can suddenly begin to blow when you least expected it. This is the reality of the spiritual winds of heaven blowing in your life.

2. THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT HAS A SOUND TO IT

The wind of the Holy Spirit comes with a powerful sound. The word sound in Greek means a sound, a noise, a rumor of something happening, or a report coming. The reality is that God has a powerful sound of His report that He desires to release in your life. Whose report will you believe? The report of man or the report of God? The sound of this world and all of its problems must be overthrown by the sound of God’s breakthrough, deliverance, and empowerment.

3. THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT IS MIGHTY

When the wind of the Spirit blows over your life it blows mightily. The word mighty in Greek means a strong, violent, forcible wind so mighty that no man can’t stop it. The reality is that when God comes in the power of His might the doctor can’t stop it, the government can’t stop it, the newspapers can’t stop it, the media can’t stop it, the laws of the land can’t stop, etc. All through the book of Acts the local authorities tried to stop the move of God by even putting the men of God in Jail. Suddenly God would show up mightily and break them out of jail. Nothing can stand against the power of God’s might in your life.

4. THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT IS RUSHING

The wind of the Holy Spirit is rushing. The word rushing in Greek means that the Holy Spirit moves urgently in your life. The word urgently means that God knows that your situation needs immediate attention. Rest assured that when the wind of the Holy Spirit blows in your life God is fully aware of the urgency of your situation. The word rushing in Greek also means to carry, bear, and conduct the lead. God will step in and take the leadership role in your situation destroying the works of the devil.

5. THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT FILLS THE WHOLE HOUSE

The wind of the Holy Spirit fills the whole house where they are sitting. God desires to fill your life to capacity and even overflow it with His goodness. The word fill in Greek means to fill something until it is absolutely complete. When God starts a work in your life He will complete. I challenge you to pray for fullness of His Spirit to manifest in every aspect of your life.
