Can you imagine the body of Christ ignited and searing to simply tell people about Jesus Christ? What if the church burned for evangelism, populating heaven at a rapid pace with souls snatched from the fiery grips of hell?
Many across the church world have the language of revival, Pentecost and power, but the question that should ring even louder is this: “Do we have the lifestyle that matches the language?” There is great power in words, as death and life are in the power of the tongue, but the kingdom culture of revival and awakening must be marked not only by language but also by lifestyle.
April 9, 2021, marks the 115th anniversary of the great Azusa Street Revival of 1906. This historical revival—that many say 700 to 800 million Christians today can trace their spiritual roots back to—changed the world forever. This revival was led by an African American man named William J. Seymour. God used this man mightily during the time of Jim Crow laws of segregation, this man who would have to sit outside the classroom to learn about the baptism in the Holy Spirit because of the separation between Blacks and whites.
The volume of this world, people, media and even voices in the church are very loud in this season. Instant access to information through social media is amplifying the sound of so many voices in the earth, leaving a generation wondering what voices are of God and what voices are not.
One of the most transformational moments of our lives is when the voice of God begins to penetrate our soul and change our lives. Every believer desires to hear the voice of Almighty God.
Undeniable perilous times are upon the earth as many tune their ears towards the hope of finding accurate prophetic voices. The gift of prophecy is under fire as well as a clear call for prophetic accountability in the body of Christ. Many have found it hard to find a sure word from God. I would encourage you to maintain the position that the gift of prophecy is real; however, the Bible always contains a sure word from God!
Many within the church have been deceptively rocked to sleep by the end-time battle strategies of Satan. In the name of unity, many have been stripped of their convictions and have chosen to go along to get along. They abide by whatever new rule, regulation or mandate Satan has packaged in governmental authority and unleashed as a weapon of fear. Once the enemy strikes their hearts with fear, he slowly rocks them into a spiritual comatose state making them ineffective in the earth.

Hearts across the nation are unsettled and potentially confused by what happened at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. Social media is flooded with images, videos and many perspectives of the U.S. Capitol being stormed by what many call "Trump supporters." The media, which some say functions like a modern-day false prophet, is painting its own picture of the narrative. Americans are left to process what is truth, error and deception about the events of that historic day.
The final countdown of the end of days are upon a generation. Signs of the times are rapidly unfolding while confirming that our redemption draws near.
The new year is on the horizon, and many hearts across the earth remain unsettled as the decade of the roaring 2020s has touched every part of the globe. Few, if anyone, can say that they have not been impacted at some level by the COVID crisis. It is still unclear what the days ahead will reveal concerning the elections and the next presidency, if there will be a transition of power and potential unrest on the soil of America.
