I believe that every blood-bought believer in Jesus Christ has access to a bondage-breaking anointing upon their lives. You have an anointing that snaps the yokes of bondage. Jesus Christ came to this earth to destroy the works of the devil and set mankind free from the power of sin and death. The anointing of the Holy Spirit upon your life will expedite the manifestation of all that God has promised in the Word of God for us to walk in.

1 John 2:20-21 says, “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.”

1 John 14:26 says, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

Isaiah 10:27 says, “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.”

It is important recognize that God has always desired that His people carry the power of the unction also known as the anointing. The reason America is moving into a form of godliness that denies the power of God is because many have learned how to go through the motions and language of christianity without the anointing! The anointing shifts the atmosphere and makes the difference. The anointing means that you have an unction from God. The word unction means the action of anointing someone with oil and describes the anointing that believers recieve from God as an impartation of ability, knowledge, and discernment. God desires to anoint you with the power and ability to advance the kingdom of God in the earth. Be sure to watch the video podcast connected to this article for more understanding on this topic. Allow me to give you four things that will help you walk in the breaker anointing and destroy the works of the devil in the earth.

1. YOU MUST DESIRE TO BE SET APART

If you desire to see the anointing of God flow through your life then you must desire to live a life that is set apart from this world and unto God. If the word anointing means to be consecrated or set apart then you must live a lifestyle that is in alignment with that. The scipture clearly calls us to live a life of sacrifice and holiness unto the Lord.

Romans 12:1-2 says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

1 Peter 1:15-17 says, “but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear.”

2. WE MUST BE READY TO OPERATE IN AUTHORITY

As the breaker anointing begins to flow into your life there is an authority that you begin to walk in. The anointing in the Word of God refers to the consecration of kings establishing their authority. The Bible is clear that the children of God are kings and priests unto God. One of the first occasions that we see the anointing connected to authority was when Samuel anointed Saul as King. Samuel took the flask of oil and poured it on him saying, “Has not the lord anointed you leader over His inheritance.” God desires that you walk in the spiritual authority that He has anointed you to walk in.

Luke 10:18-19 says, “And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

1 Peter 2:9 says, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

3. WE MUST DESIRE TO BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

If you desire to walk in the breaker anointing then you must live your life led by the Holy Spirit. God desires to anoint you to do what you cannot do on your own. When Saul was anointed by Samuel the Spirit of God came upon him in power and changed his heart and he began to prophesy. He was transformed into a different person and begin to do what he could not do before. However when he sinned the Spirit of God left him and a tormenting spirit came upon him. Stay in a place with God where you can be led by the Holy Spirit.

1 Samuel 10:6-7 says, “Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you.”

Romans 8:14 says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”

1 Samuel 6:14 says, “But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.”

4. WE MUST REALIZE THAT THE ANOINTING IS WITHIN US

Finally, you must realize that the anointing is on the inside of you. I know this sounds really simple but many look for the anointing everywhere but on the inside. The The Word of God is clear that the Kingdom of God is within you! The day you surrendered your life to Jesus the Holy Spirit moved inisde of your heart and the anointing now rests within you to teach you. Be careful not to grieve or quench the Holy Spirit.

Luke 17:20-21 says, “Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

1 John 2:27 says, “But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.”

Ephesians 4:30-32 says, “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

1 Thessalonians 5:19 says, “Do not quench the Spirit.”
