Signs of the times are happening at a rapid pace in the earth as there is great spiritual turbulence. One thing that must remain intact and extremely healthy is your faith. It is imperative to believe God for great and powerful things no matter what is happening around you. You are called to fight the good fight of faith and finish the race. One day you will stand before God and give an account for your life and then receive a crown that He will place on your head and then you will place it at His feet.
Romans 1:17 says, “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
1 John 5:4 says, “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
Faith is the substance of things hoped for but the evidence of things not yet seen. Substance means to “ stand up under.” Are you standing by faith under the plans and promises of God or are you standing in unbelief under the wicked plans of the enemy? Faith means that you have a strong conviction that what God said is going to come to pass.
1. THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH
I want you to understand your spiritual position as a child of God so that you can walk in the faith that God has called you to walk in. You have been justified in Jesus Christ which means “just as if you never did it.” When you placed your sin under the blood of Jesus Christ it is now just as if you have never done it! Your sin is now in the sea of forgetfulness positioning you to walk in great faith. The Bible is clear that the just shall live by a continued faith that goes from faith to faith.
1 John 1:7 says, “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
Habakkuk 2:4 says, “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.”
The word faith in the original language means faith, belief, trust, confidence, and faithfulness. Your trust in God should always become even more trust in God. Your confidence in God should move to more confidence in God. Your faithfulness to God should move to more faithfulness in God! God is calling every believer in this last hour to go from faith to faith. This is the heart of God for your life.
2. THE BLESSING OF GOING FROM FAITH TO FAITH
When you begin to move from faith to faith it is important to understand that there are blessings that are found in walking by faith. Be sure to watch the video podcast or listen to the audio podcast to hear in detail about these blessings of going from faith to faith.
1. FAITH MAKES NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU BECAUSE NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD
The reality is that as you walk by faith you will find yourself in a place where you begin to believe that nothing is impossible for you because nothing is impossible for God. This does not mean that everything you desire in life is going to happen just because you believe. However, nothing is impossible in the realm of faith.
Matthew 17:20 says, “So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this
mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
2. FAITH GIVES YOU ACCESS TO GOD
Romans 5:1-2 says, “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
You have access to God by Faith! This is a big deal! Being justified by faith we have peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. By faith, We have a peace that gives us access to God. The word peace in Greek means to bind together that which has been separated. God has brought you together with Him by the blood of Jesus and you now have peace with God and access to His presence. Your access to God reveals that you are in the family of God.
Ephesians 2:18-22 says, “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”
3. FAITH RELEASES THE PROMISES OF GOD
Nothing is impossible for those who believe! You also have complete access to God by faith that releases the promises of God. Many believe in the promises of God and attempt to stand on the promises of God. However, Hebrews 6:11-12 says, “And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
Paul warns in the Word of God that the people must continue in the full assurance of the hope of eternal life even to the end. If they do this then they will inherit the blessings and promises of God. We can’t be sluggish if we desire to walk by faith and release the promises of God.
Consider the faith of Abraham as the Bible says he was fully persuaded. Meaning his soul was full of confidence that God was bound to His Word and would fulfill what He had promised. There is only one thing that God is bound to and that is His Word. Are you persuaded that God will perform His Word in the earth?
Romans 4:19-20 says, “And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”
Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”
All of God’s promises for your life await you in the heavenly places but they must be accessed by faith. I challenge you to move from faith to faith until you believe that nothing is impossible because you have direct access to God to obtain His promises.
